Assalamulaikum wrt wbt...
1. Slander means oral defamation, in which someone tells one or more
persons an untruth about another which untruth will harm the reputation
of the person defamed. Slander is a civil wrong (tort) and can be the basis for a lawsuit.
2. Newspaper headline or Facebook Status always draw my attention to article or a story but I always will browse through the news before coming back to that article to read more about it.
3. Lately, the status or story in Malaysia is concentrate on "Phd" news. You must heard about it or has read it in a newspaper, facebook or even whatapp. Well, weather it is true or not, let the man tell it to us directly. We, as human being, always judge a person very quickly before we really know about the truth.
4. Amazingly, this story came up when this guy become popular and many people wanted to hear his idea and his speech to get more knowledge. He is word and how he presented himself makes people envy him. And in my opinions, the jealously that people have to him makes him a target. "But Aderin, he lie about his education level" says someone close to me.
5. True, a lie is still a lie. How can people believe you after you lied to them. Take me, for example, if you lie to me, yes I can forgive you, but to trust you again that is another story.
6. What I want to say here is that, not about the lie he has told but my scope of discussion is more to the comment that we can see in the newspaper, pages, blogs, twitter, facebook, whatapp dan many more. The question I wants to asked this people is - "Do you ever lie in your life?"...
7. When I look back in my younger days, now I understand why my "cikgu agama" always says, "Be Silence, if you have noting good to say, as it is better the saying bad things."
8. Another advice, do not pickup the attitude of become a slander or backstabbing as this is not a very good attitude in a first place. This is also to the person who likes to give a negative comment in a Facebook or any others mass media, as of they are more good the the person who he/she commented.
9. I would like to quote a Malay proverb that say " Umpama Meludah Ke Langit, Muka Juga Yang Basah", it means that when you talk nonsense, you, yourself will become hurt. - something like that.
10. We are humans that never fails to make mistake, we learn thru our journey of life, that make us mature. Mistakes and experience make us mature day by day. In Islam, we are encourage to learn every day till we die. So, why do we so excited to look for people flaws. If like do don't have any flaws ourselves. Please always be careful when we comment on people, somehow, somewhere people are watching us. If you have nothing good to say, be quiet and let the thing pass us.
11. Lastly, praise to Allah swt, as he has given me the opportunity to see my lovely mother and family. May Allah swt protect me while I am traveling. So that my travel is in his protection going and coming back to Bahrain. Aminn .
